The Adversity Paradox
by Aaron K.
"Adversity has the effect of eliciting talents which in prosperous circumstances would have lain dormant." -Greek poet Homer
When adversity comes, learn to receive it with joy for it is actually opportunity. A golden opportunity disguised and perceived at first as failure. If we see adversity as opportunity and receive it with joy we will elicit character and talents that would otherwise lay hidden in good times.
Action. My sons, adversity is a paradox for the very thing we run from, is the very thing we need to mature our soul, build strength of character, reveal hidden talents and actually uncover new opportunities that we would have never recognized in times of ease. Through prayer and self discipline work to change your perception of adversity…instead search hard for the hidden opportunities. Lead yourself away from discouragement so in self pity you don’t miss amazing life changing opportunities. For the true leader reveals himself through hardship and adversity.
