Partnering is key. 11.7.11 & 10.8.12

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. (Ecclesiastes 4:9, 10 NLT)

Partnering, is wise for it is the key to long term consistent advancement in all areas of life. If a man is serious about cultivating excellence in his life, he will seek out partner-like relationships specific to the certain areas of a man’s life. A wise man looks both at the head and the heart of his potential partners. First, aligning with those who are technically more advanced in the specific areas, so he can be pushed to grow. Secondly and most importantly, finding those who seek to excel the right way…honoring God in both process and heart. Every area of life should have partner-like friendships; our walk with God, our marriage and family, our health, our business, etc. Partners not only bring consistent encouragement but also the necessary push to cultivate our full God-given potential. Action. My sons, no matter the stage of life seek out and pursue like-minded, go-getting, partner-type relationships, for if you are serious about excellence and faithfullness in life, it is necessary. Besides, the greatest blessing of all, is that life is designed by God to be most enjoyed in relationship with others anyway…fostering deep, true friendships along the way.
