Time and perspective. 2.9.12

We don’t remember what happened in the past, and in future generations, no one will remember what we are doing now. (Ecclesiastes 1:11 NLT)

Nothing clarifies perspective like time. For what we think and what reality is varies greatly. We view our selves as the main characters of the story when in reality we are but brief momentary extras in the great story of Gods redeeming of His creation and His people. Pride being so engrained in us…that our indentiy is always on the line and at risk…making small things into huge ordeals. Action. My sons, be free from the approval of man in all you do…for time is the great perspective corrector. Pride always magnifies… distorting all of life. Desire always to be truly authentic and humble by maintaining proper context in your life…the wisdom in seeing what is really important and what fades quickly with time.
