Don’t over think, trust God. 1.4.11 & 11.18.11

Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant.

If they watch every cloud, they never harvest.

Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another—or maybe both. Ecclesiastes 11:4,6

The desire to fully understand and control our situations in life can keep us from doing great work. As we go about our day, we say…"once I get this taken care of I’ll be able to do this"…always putting off waiting for the conditions to be perfect, thus never planting or harvesting. Conditions in life are never perfect, so it is far better to begin, although not perfectly, allowing God to work along the way. The decision is made in choosing to be faithful to the process everyday, irrespective of circumstances…everyday staying busy planting your seed knowing God determines the harvest. Action. My sons, tie your heart and your efforts to daily being faithful to the process, don’t make excuses for inaction… waiting for conditions to be perfect…for circumstances are always ebbing and flowing in life. Besides, the blessed life you long for is found in the joy of the action anyway, being faithful in the big and small duties of life.
