Good leaders abhor wrongdoing of all kinds; sound leadership has a moral foundation. Good leaders cultivate honest speech; they love advisors who tell them the truth. An intemperate leader wreaks havoc in lives; you’re smart to stay clear of someone like that. Good-tempered leaders invigorate lives; they’re like spring rain and sunshine. (Proverbs 16:12-15 MSG)
Good leaders hate wrong doing and have a moral foundation. They cultivate honest speech and while appreciating the same in return. Bad leaders are intemperate lacking self control, while good leaders are in control of self, which in vigorates and inspires the lives of those around them. The presence of a good leader inspires hope like a spring rain or sunshine. Action. My sons, desire to be this type of man. For all men are leaders, its just that some are good and some are bad…always drawing others closer or further away from God, thru their lives and actions. In every human encounter seek to be a messenger of hope… for life is hard on us all, be that spring rain or sunshine in the lives of others and you in return will experience the same; for this reflects the character of our great messenger of hope…Christ.
